The Perfect Person

We're all tired of hearing that no one is perfect. Many times despite knowing this, and certain occurrences, many keep falling into the mistake of requiring too much of themselves, being overly concerned to be perfect. Many think that to be an assistant, a servant of God, a pastor's wife they need to perfect... They find it unimaginable to show any imperfection in front of people (or so they think) and therefore impede themselves from being used more by God.

If no one is perfect, why try to create a perfect image? Why try to disguise the worst areas in our life (our mistakes and flaws)?

Wouldn't it be easier if we just confessed that we need to improve?

Human beings make mistakes. They behave wrongly, they try to achieve things but they don't work out, they cry, they have their difficult moments, those days that only God knows who you are but, this doesn't make you any less special.

I want you to remember one thing and not forget it: Nobody is perfect! Not me and not you! I don't know a perfect person, do you? Well, only in cartoons lol, The Wonder Woman, who doesn't exist... The only One who is perfect is our Lord Jesus, and He does exist. What distinguishes people is this awareness that no one is perfect but, to be able to always be examine themselves in order to improve, grow and learn.

Know that our imperfections make us dependent on God, if we were perfect we wouldn't seek our Lord Jesus.

God will be able to do more miracles only when we understand that.

Get rid of any excruciating demands... be dependent solely on God and this way, He will have complete access to use you.

  1. Thank you for this advise! So many times I was troubled because I could not avoid mistakes and errors ... But whenever I'm humbled to God, I managed to get up and let me full use by God. I thank my Lord Jesus for making me so imperfect, so that He can improve me!

  2. Thank you very much for this message, many times I kept accusing me to despise me because of the mistakes I was doing well as insignificant as it is sometimes.
I was so troubled by the fact that it was imperative to give this image of perfection that I could never reach its put myself so much pressure.
No ONE IS PERFECT AND WE will never be perfect, we must improve day after day, thanks again

  4. Thank you for this post, its so easy to see people and think wow, they are perfect and to look at ourselves and feel discouraged.
The times when you ask God to reveal to you what you need to change and when He does its not what you expected.. But all our imperfections really does make us rely on God so I'm grateful for them, but they cannot stay!
